My Walter is stuck on Blue screen. What is going on?
|
A Walter may get stuck on the blue screen because of either a temporary aberration or a more serious corruption of local data on Walter.Your first attempt should be to reboot the Walter because temporary aberration is usually corected by the "AUTO-RECOVERY" feature of Walter application. For more serious issues you may have to call EPAY support.
Before you call EPAY Support, please follow the steps below and take notes.
Reboot Walter and observe the screen as it changes
You will see a white screen with a blue scroll bar on the bottom
The next screen will be a blue screen saying Windows CE.net
Wait for 20 seconds.
At this point the screen should turn black with a yellow text on it.
The messages on the screen will change and in most cases, the auto recovery feature of Walter will correct any minor problem that might have caused the blue screen.
If your Walter still comes back to the blue screen then do the following
- Reboot the Walter one more time and let all the above steps happen
- Carefully note down the text messages displayed on the screen from the time of reboot to the re-appearance of blue screen
- call EPAY support at 1-877-800-3729 Ext 2.
- Your support manager will need the details of exact messages you see on the screen to be able to help you.
