What is Trim back to the prior Three quarter of an hour?
|
This setting will trim/pull back the punch time by 45 minutes.
For example:- If the shift starts at 07:00 a.m. and the employee punches between:
07:00 – 07:45 then it would show up as 07:00 a.m.
What is Lunch Logic? Lunch logic is a feature by which you can lunch deduction for employees after they fulfill the required condition automatically. This setting can be done either at the shift level (where we have well defined shifts for the site) or at site level.
Why Automatic Lunch deduction? For some sites, the employees cannot/do not punch out at the start of lunch and then punch in once they are back from the break. In order to avoid inconvenience and confusion, Automatic Lunch deduction can be enabled so that the hours come up accordingly on the timesheets.
How do we set Automatic Lunch deduction? Automatic lunch deduction can be set up in two ways :
At the shift level: When a shift is created for a site with the specific start and end time, you can set up lunch logic.
For example:- If you want an employee assigned to a shift1 to get unpaid lunch of 1 hour once he/she completes 8 hours of work. We can do it as seen in the screenshot below.
At the site level: The lunch deduction settings can be done at the site level by going to the Site settings. If you want all the employees at the site to get unpaid lunch of 1 hour once 8 hours of work is completed, this can be achieved as below.
